Euphrasia
(eyebright) is a common, obvious and reasonably diverse
genus in the Tasmanian native flora. There are
numerous native species. They are all herbs, mostly with
upright stems. The flowers are conspicuous and occur in
spikes at the ends of the branches.
These plants are most obvious in alpine areas, but
species occur in a wide range of other habitats (including
coastal cliffs, dry forests, button grass plains).
