| The
introduced tree species, dutch elm (Ulmus x hollandica),
is the only member of Ulmaceae in the Tasmanian flora. This
species has become naturalised in a few places. The broad,
deciduous leaves with their asymmetrical leaf bases and
compound teeth are distinctive.
