HYPERICACEAE (formerly known as Clusiaceae) 1:80

Tasmania contains two native species (both small herbs of open grassy areas), and a few introduced herbs and shrubs in the genus Hypericum. The introduced species are probably all garden escaped species. The flowers tend to be conspicuous, with bright yellow, spreading petals. Many of the species in this genus are commonly referred to as st johns-wort.
