The
introduced tree species Griselinia littoralis,
formerly included in Cornaceae, is the only species of
this family in Tasmania. It has thick, elliptical, glossy
green leaves which are quite succulent and have blunt
apices. The flowers are small, greenish and in many-flowered
clusters.
