LEMBOPHYLLACEAE
 
The Lembophyllaceae is a conspicuous family of wet forest to rain forest mosses. Five genera and 7 species of the Lembophyllaceae occur in Tasmania.

Members of the family are characterized by their concave leaves which are spirally arranged around the shoot.
