Gynatrix (Malvaceae) 1:87 The one Tasmanian species of Gynatrix (G. pulchella) is an uncommon shrub that is found along a few watercourses in northern Tasmania. It is closely related to Asterotrichion discolor, which is similar, except tends to be more tree-like and is common in South-eastern Tasmania.
