Melaleuca
armillaris (Myrtaceae) not in the Students Flora
Melaleuca
armillaris is known in Tasmania only from a few
islands in the north of Bass Strait. It is a tree with
conspicuous cream flowers with the clusters of stamens on
longish stalks and long leaves with a curved tip. It is also
a common garden tree.
