Eucalyptus nebulosa ( Myrtaceae) not in the Student's Flora


Eucalyptus nebulosa is a rare endemic species that occurs on serpentine soils in northern parts of western Tasmania.
It is similar to E. nitens but has distinctly glaucous leaves.
It is a small tree to 7 m tall with smooth bark which is dull cream-white when freshly exposed, aging to dull grey or grey-green.
The crown is open and a uniform bluish-grey.
Juvenile leaves are opposite and adult leaves are alternate.
