Hepatostolonophora is a leafy liverwort genus of which Tasmania
has 2 representatives. Hepatostolonophora spp. are rare
liverworts found in very wet places, particular near waterfalls.
They and usually grow among other bryophytes, have erect shoots have
stolons at the base.
