Solenostoma orbiculatum (previously
Jungermannia orbiculata) is an uncommon aquatic liverwort of
wet banks beside forest streams, particularly at higher altitude
areas. Unlike the related S. inundatum, the cells of this
species do not have trigones and oil bodies are more abundant (3-10
per cell).
