| Acrobolbus concinnus (Acrobolbaceae) |

Acrobolbus concinnus is a small (shoots typically around 1mm wide) and nondescript rainforest
epiphyte. It usually grows as loose wefts amongst other bryophytes
but may form small, almost pure light green mats under ideal
conditions. When seen under a good hand lens or a dissecting
microscope however, the leaf cells are opaque, thereby accentuating
the pattern of the cell walls (particularly so when plants are wet). The oil bodies are large and dark brown, as is typical
of the family.
