Brunonia (Goodeniaceae; formerly in

This genus has only one species, Brunonia
australis. In Tasmania it is located in the
north, in a few dry sandy areas. It is common and
widespread on mainland Australia. The blue and purple
heads make this a reasonably distinctive species, in spite
of a resemblance to Asteraceae. It is a rosette plant. |
