has one native species of Schenkia (S. australis;
formerly known as Centaurium spicatum). This
species is a slender, erect, rare, annual herb that is
probably native. It is mainly found in a range of habitats
(including disturbed pastures, heath and forest) in the
north and east of the state. It has relatively broad, small,
opposite, hairless leaves. |
