Hermaphrodite/Unisexual

Hermaphrodite
flowers have functional male and female organs (stamens and ovaries)
Unisexual lowers have only stamens or only ovaries (i.e. they are staminate and pistillate). Some unisexual flowers have vestigial organs of the other sex.

In Dioecious plants the male and female flowers are on different plants. In Monoecious pants the male and female flowers are on the same plant.
