Trifolium suffocatum
(suffocated clover) is a small, uncommon
hairless, prostrate annual weed that grows in dry sandy
places. The leaves are trifoliate, on long petioles. The
leaflets are widest above the middle, 3-10mm long, with very
fine teeth. The stipules quite large and obscure the flower
heads. The flowers are white and in heads of 1-15 flowers,
and only 3-7 mm long and wide.
