| Trifolium
lappaceum (bristly clover or burdock clover) is a more
or less upright annual weed with trifoliate leaves and
narrow, zig-zagging stems. The leaves are covered in
appressed hairs, and are on short to long petioles. The
leaflets are widest above the middle, 5-15 mm long by 3-8 mm
wide. They are finely toothed near the apex. The stipules
are hairy, membranous with visible veins. The flowers are
pink and in spherical heads 10-15mm wide. |
