| Monotoca
submutica (described as M. scoparia var submutica
in the Student's Flora) is common, much branched
shrub in scrubby vegetation on poor soils in south-western
Tasmania. It also occurs in subalpine areas. A shorter
variety, to about 30cm tall, grows in the eastern part of
the state. |
