| Leucopogon
collinus is a very common and widespread species. It
is an erect shrub that is very common in sandy heaths and
dry sclerophyll forests. It has distinctly recurved leaf
margins and flowers clustered at the ends of the branches,
looking like small, fluffy white balls at the ends of the
branches. It is sometimes confused with
Styphelia ericoides. However, the flowers of the
latter species extend down the stems. |
