| Like
many other Hibbertia species, Hibbertia
obtusifolia (grey guineaflower) is a small
low growing plant with conspicuous yellow flowers and flat
or almost flat, narrow leaves 1-3cm long. It is very rare
(possibly extinct) in Tasmania and was only found on Clarke
Island (although it also occurs in Victoria). The flowers
have numerous stamens. |
