Hibbertia
dispar is a rare species found in Tasmania only on
the Furneaux Group islands . It is a low-growing
plant with branches to 30 cm long. The stems are covered in
mainly simple hairs along with some stellate hairs. The
leaves are sparsely covered with short hairs and have a
terminal tuft of hairs.
