Hibbertia
appressa (sourthern guineaflower) is a scrambling
shrub that resembles H.
empetrifolia, but has appressed hairs on the
sepals. It grows in open forests and damp heaths in the
north, east and south-east. It is probably more widespread
and common than H. empetrifolia.
