Sedum rupestre (formerly known as S. reflexum;
Crassulaceae) not in The Student's Flora
Sedum
rupestre (reflexed wallpepper or blue stonecrop) is a
garden escaped succulent with needle-like leaves which are
usually one or two cm long and distinctly waxy-blue
(strongly glaucous). It is a low growing plant with numerous
erect branches. The blue foliage resembles glaucous conifer
shoots (e.g. Blue Spruce).
