| Crassula
multicava is a medium sized, perennial introduced
plant. It is quite low growing and spreading, though the
branches are erect. The foliage is distinctive - the leaves
are opposite and decussate, almost circular, quite
succulent. The Tasmanian populations are an escaped garden
variety which has small spots on the leaves that are often
reddish. The flowers are white, with pink tinges, It
is much larger than the other species of Crassula
in Tasmania. It is naturalised near urban areas. |
