Convolvulus (Convolvulaceae) 3:496 |
 |
|
| Tasmania
has one native and one introduced species of Convolvulus
(C. angustissimus and C. arvensis respectively).
They are both common species in dry areas. C. arvensis
(field bindweed) is a twining plant with twisting stems,
whereas C. angustissimus (= C. erubescens; blushing
bindweed) is a prostrate plant without twisting stems and
lobed or toothed leaves. They can be confused with Calystegia
species, but almost always have smaller flowers. |
