Persicaria praetermissa (formerly known as Polygonum
strigosa; Polygonaceae) 3:589

| Persicaria
praetermissa (arrow waterpepper) is a slender,
creeping, prostrate to decumbent herb found on the margins
of swamps or lagoons. The leaves are hastate (i.e. with a
spreading lobe on either side of the base of the lamina)
2.5-8cm long by 6-17mm wide, a bit hairy. Inflorescence is
of 1-6 small, rather isolated clusters of small, pink or
white flowers (1 flower per cluster mature at a time). |
