Drosera spatulata (rosy sundew) is widespread and common in peaty places. It is easily recognised by its  flat rosettes with spoon shaped leaves, with petioles shorter than the leaf blades.

The inflorescence is one or two-stemmed with 5-12 white flowers on each stem. Sepals are red and minutely glandular.
