Drosera glanduligera (scarlet sundew) is quite similar to the more common dwarf or pygmy sundew (D. pygmaea) but is noticeable larger and has five petals.

Annual herb; tubers absent. Leaves in a ground-appressed rosette, blade yellow-green, orbicular, the clasping hairs with long red tips. Inflorescence of 1 to several branches, reddish, glandular-hairy, up to 5–10 cm tall, each branch a 2–20 flowered raceme. Sepals light brown or reddish, hairy, the hairs red. Petals 5, bright red. Flowering & fruiting Sep.–Nov.
