Drosera auriculata (tall sundew) is a widespread and common native sundew species that grows in a wide range of vegetation, including dry grassy woodlands.

It is a perennial herb arising from a globose, pink  tuber. Rosette leaves (if present) are appressed to the soil, semi-circular,  not peltate; stem leaves solitary or in groups of 2–6, lamina with two ear-like points. Stem erect, solitary, branching above, or with one branch from the base, 6–65 cm tall. Flowers in terminal groups of 2-8. Sepals blackish, hairless. Petals usually pink. Flowering & fruiting Aug.–Mar.
