Colobanthus apetalus (Caryophyllaceae) 1:74

Colobanthus apetalus is a relatively common and widespread cushion forming herb. It grows from sea level (e.g. on coastal banks along the South Coast) to dry subalpine areas. In exposed areas it forms very dense cushions, but in other areas the cushions may be less dense.
