| Two
species of Mesembryanthemum (iceplant) are
naturalised in a few places in Tasmania. These are both
spreading prostrate plants with flowers with numerous red
"petals". Both have broad, flat, rather succulent leaves.
They are, M. crystallinum (common iceplant) and M.
cordifolia (heartleaf iceplant) which was previously
known as Aptenia cordifolia. |
