Chenopodium
includes four introduced species in Tasmania (although it is
possible that C. glaucum is native). Some of
these species are commonly known as goosefoot. They occur in
a wide range of mostly dry habitats. The species include
some common weeds such as C. album commonly known as
fat hen.
a fifth introduced species, C. erosum, is
possibly extinct in Tasmania and is not included in this
key. Dysphania
was previously included in Chenopdium.
