Chenopodium
includes four introduced species in Tasmania (although it is
possible that C. glaucum is native). Some of these
species are commonly known as goosefoot. They occur in a
wide range of mostly dry habitats. The species include some
common weeds such as C. album commonly known as fat
hen.
One species, C. erosum is possibly extinct and is
not included in this key. Dysphania
was previously included in Chenopdium.
