Wahlenbergia littoricola (not

Wahlenbergia
littoricola (shoreside bluebell or coast bluebell) is
a perennial herb, recorded mainly up the east coast of
Tasmania and the immediate hinterland.
Stems may reach 80 cm high. The lower leaves are flat
and opposite becoming linear and alternate as they ascend,
growing up to 6 cm long x 4 mm wide.
Terminal blue funnel-shaped flowers are visible most of the
year.
All Tasmanian plants belong to ssp. littoricola.
It is similar to W.
muliticaulis, except its corolla tube is longer
relative to the lobes (free part of petals)
