Wahlenbergia
ceracea is a reasonably common subalpine plant found
in moist, grassy places in the eastern and central
mountains.
In their early growing stage, the stems are often sprawling
or prostrate, but curve to be erect in the flowering stage,
reaching 20-80 cm in length.
