| Isotoma (Campanulaceae) 2:411
(as Lobeliaceae) |
Tasmania
has two very similar native species of Isotoma I.fluviatilis
and I. tridens. Both are small creeping herb, with
small, dark green leaves. They are found in wet places such
as the edges of lakes where they are subject to occasional
inundation.
Their flowers have bilateral symmetry and the anthers are
joined edge to edge to form a tube around the style. |
