Myosotis exarrhena (sweet forgetmenot) is a uncommon, erect herbaceous native species that grows on rocky subalpine slopes.

It has conspicuous white flowers in a one sided cyme (it unwinds like a bishops crozier). The flowers are pale white or blue, with scales at the throat of the corolla tube and with anthers protruding. 

The leaves are hairy and typically 5-10 cm long and up to about 1cm wide. There is usually a cluster of leaves at the base and scattered leaves up the stems.
