Lithospermum officinale (gromwell) is an introduced
species which in Australia occurs only in Cataract Gorge and
Trevallyn Nature Recreation Area and surrounds.
It is a largish (30-80cm tall) perennial herb, with leaves
about 7cm long. A distinctive feature are the hard, white
seeds which give it its scientific name. |
