Anchusa (= Lycopsis arvensis; Boraginaceae)
not in the Student's Flora

(Pentaglottis sempervirens is included in Student's as Anchusa sempervirens.)

Anchusa arvensis
(bugloss) is naturalised in Tasmania.  Anchusa arvensis is a medium to large herb (up to perhaps 1m tall), with erect stems (at least at the ends). It is quite densely covered in stiff, spreading hairs. The leaves have recurved margins and tend to be narrower than those of Pentaglottis.
