Cassytha pedicellosa is a hairless, parasitic plant which is very similar to C. glabella but differs from that species in the following respects: its flowerss and fruit are attached by short stalks and the fruit have noticeably thickened rims. C. pedicellosa is a ground-hugging plant and does not clamber over other plants.
