Cassytha glabella is a hairless, parasitic plant that scrambles across a range of woody plant species It differs from the other species of Cassytha in being both hairless and having sessile fruits and flowers. The stems are more slender than those of C. melantha and C. pubescens but similar to those of C. pedicellosa.
