Ozothamnus
reflexus is a compact to erect bush up to 2 m tall
with crowded, petiolate, reflexed (i.e. curved downwards)
leaves. It is found in the south-east from sea level to 500
m.
It is characterised by having eight to twelve florets per
capitulum and by short, cottony white hairs on the stems.
It has two forms, one with long, fine leaves (Mt Wellington)
and one with shorter, broad leaves (Tasman Peninsula).
Genetic analysis, however, does not support splitting these
into distinct species.
