| Helichrysum
pumilum is a reasonably common native rosette herb in
peaty regions on mountains and at sea level in the west and
south-west of the state. It superficially resembles a small
Celmisia, but
the heads lack ray flowers, and the leaves are not silvery
hairy above (as in C. saxifraga). |
