Coronidium gunnianum is an erect perennial herb to
about 50 cm tall with freely branching, white,
cottony-hairy vertical stems. Leaves are 20-65 mm long
with upper surface more or less hairless and lower surface
obscured by white cottony hairs. Flower head is
solitary, sub-globular and usually 20 mm or less in
diameter.
It grows at altitudes of less than 100 m in
grasslands and woodlands in areas subject to inundation. |
