Argyrotegium nitidulum is an uncommon native alpine species known from snow patch grassland on Ben Lomond. It is a mat-forming herb with silvery white leaves 3-7mm long in small rosette-like clusters (at the ends of the thick branches). The flower heads are solitary. It is often found growing near A. mackayi and A. fordianum.
