Podolepis decipiens (Asteraceae) not in The Student's Flora



Podolepis decipiens (deceiving copperwire-daisy)
is a widespread native herb occurring from sea level to alpine grasslands. Its lanceolate leaves form a basal rosette with smaller leaves on the single stem.

It bears a single yellow flower head up to 4 cm diameter, with distinctive trilobed ray flowers.
