Tasmania has 2 introduced species of Soliva. S.
sessilis (jo-jo) is common in the grass of
sportsgrounds.It is similar to Soliva
valdiviana, which has been recorded from Hobart and
the Tasman Peninsula. Apart from the sessile flower
heads they are quite similar to Cotula.
