Anthemis (Asteraceae) 2:351

Three species of Anthemis have been naturalised in Tasmania. They are all strongly aromatic herbs with finely divided leaves. In A. tinctoria (yellow chamomile) the ligulate flowers are yellow. The other two species, A. cotula (stinking mayweed) and A. arvensis (corn chamomile) have white ligulate flowers, but differ mainly in that A. arvensis is only weakly aromatic, but A. cotula is fetid smelling.
