Daucus glochidiatus (Native Carrot) is a common and widespread native herb that grows in dry places (e.g. grassy woodlands).

It is very variable in form, but is often a small, quite low growing plant.

The leaves are bipinnate and the fruit has conspicuous bristles in several longitudinal rows.
