Eryngium vesiculosum

E. vesiculosum
|
| Tasmania
has two native species of Eryngium. These are both
low growing spiny herbs. E. vesiculosum is a
reasonably common plant growing in wet coastal environments
(saline lagoons, herbfields in the salt spray zone). E.
ovinum (=E. rostratum) is a similar, but rare,
species that grows in grasslands and woodlands in some of
the driest parts of Tasmania. |
